Basketball Recap: Sharon Takes a Loss

Sharon managed to keep up with Hickory until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Sharon Tigers came up short against the Hickory Hornets, falling 57-33. The defeat was just more heartbreak for the Tigers who fell 48-45 when the teams previously met back in January of 2024.

Kimora Roberts continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Hickory, dropping a double-double with 17 points and 17 boards. Addison Phillips was another key player, putting up 20 points.

Sharon's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Hickory, their record is now 9-12.

Sharon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hickory, they are taking a road trip to face off against Cranberry Area at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
