While Dorman put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Boiling Springs. The Cavaliers claimed a resounding 34-0 victory over the Bulldogs. Given the Cavaliers' advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina football rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Bulldogs are ranked 63rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win was the third in a row for Dorman, bringing their record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.0 points on average over those games. As for Boiling Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
