Soccer Recap: Bishop Ready Comes Up Short

Bishop Ready lost against Worthington Christian back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Silver Knights lost 3-0 to the Warriors. While losing is never fun, Bishop Ready can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 151st, while Worthington Christian are ranked 25th).

Bishop Ready's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-3-1. As for Worthington Christian, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2-1.

Coming up, Bishop Ready will welcome Briggs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Worthington Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Franklin Heights at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Worthington Christian are facing Franklin Heights at the right time seeing as Franklin Heights are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
