Basketball Recap: Cocoa Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to 74 points the game before, Cocoa was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Rockledge Raiders, falling 66-30. The Tigers have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Rockledge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Matthew Ford, who posted 11 points in addition to six boards and five assists. Another player making a difference was Conlan Oakley, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds.

Cocoa's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Rockledge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cocoa will take on Palm Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Pirates have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Rockledge, they will face off against Astronaut at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
