Softball Recap: Lakeside Takes a Loss

Lakeside lost against Harlem back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 17-2 to the Bulldogs. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lakeside saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was HAYDEN ZIMMERMAN, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI. Those RBI were ZIMMERMAN's first of the season.

Lakeside's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Harlem, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

Coming up, Lakeside will square off against Lincoln County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Harlem, they will welcome Grovetown at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
