Soccer Recap: Mount Paran Christian Comes Up Short

Mount Paran Christian's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They lost 5-0 to the Paideia Pythons. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pythons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2015.

The defeat snapped Mount Paran Christian's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three contests. As for Paideia, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Mount Paran Christian wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, an 8-0 loss against Atlanta International on the 11th. As for Paideia, they will take on Druid Hills at 7:30 p.m. on March 13th. Druid Hills will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Paideia surely won't give up without a fight.
