Recap: Kimball Jaguars vs. Central Catholic Raiders
The Kimball Jaguars won the last time they faced the Central Catholic Raiders, and things went their way on Thursday too. Kimball came out on top against Central Catholic by a score of 57-44. Given Kimball's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 259th, while Central Catholic is ranked 691st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kimball was led to victory by Emma Coronado and Sierra Tuliau. Coronado scored 13 points along with two steals, while Tuliau scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Ella Gregory was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds.
Kimball's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-4. As for Central Catholic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.
Kimball will head out on the road to face off against East Union at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Union will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive. Central Catholic will take on Oakdale at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
