Basketball Recap: Muncy Has No Trouble Against Neumann Regional Academy

Muncy won the last time they faced Neumann Regional Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Muncy Indians were the clear victor by a 43-21 margin over the Neumann Regional Academy Golden Knights. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 21 points or more this season.

Several Golden Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kallee Johnson, who posted six points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Niyah Tutler, who earned 12 points and six boards.

The win made it two in a row for Muncy and bumps their season record up to 14-4. As for Neumann Regional Academy, they dropped their record down to 9-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Muncy will challenge South Williamsport at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Williamsport will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Muncy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Neumann Regional Academy, they will square off against Bucktail at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neumann Regional Academy is facing Bucktail at the right time seeing as Bucktail is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
