Given the Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 408th, while the Huskies are ranked 1117th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Poly got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Juliet Zaragoza out in front who posted 15 points. The dominant performance gave Zaragoza a new career-high in points. Abby Folsom was another key player, putting up 15 points.
