It was a proper cat-fight when Woodbine duked it out with Glidden-Ralston on Friday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 11 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Woodbine and bumps their season record up to 18-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Glidden-Ralston, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-7.

Coming up, Woodbine will head out to challenge Newell-Fonda on Monday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Glidden-Ralston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
