Washington County proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 14) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Cross Creek Razorbacks 6-4. Winning may never get old, but the Golden Hawks sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Washington County's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Cross Creek, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Washington County has already played their next matchup, a 9-5 win against Central on the 26th. As for Cross Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-0 loss against Swainsboro on the 21st.
