Football Game Preview: Glacier Wolfpack vs. Billings West Golden Bears + How To Watch

The Glacier Wolfpack will face off against the Billings West Golden Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Glacier comes in on 11 and Billings West on ten.

Glacier is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Gallatin 35-0. The result was nothing new for the Wolfpack, who have now won ten games by 30 points or more so far this season.

Glacier got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Asher Knopik out in front who rushed for 135 yards and three TDs while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. Knopik got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 68 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Presley, who threw for 157 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Billings West faced Big Sky in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Golden Bears had just enough and edged out the Eagles 20-17. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Golden Bears have posted since September 20, 2024.

Glacier's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Billings West, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.

Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Glacier has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 227 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Billings West struggles in that department as they've been averaging 148.8 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.

Glacier didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Billings West in their previous meeting back in August, but they still walked away with a 14-10 win. Will the Wolfpack repeat their success, or do the Golden Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
