Baseball Recap: Brookstone Comes Up Short

Brookstone managed to slip by Lakeside School the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cougars came up short against the Chiefs on Wednesday, falling 12-1. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Cougars couldn't push the score so high this time.

Brookstone saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Lowery, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Brookstone's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lakeside School, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Coming up, Brookstone will venture away from home to take on Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lakeside School, they will take on Clarke Prep in a tournament on Friday.
