Hampton entered their tilt with Salem on Saturday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They had just enough and edged out the Sundevils 62-59. This was payback for the Crabbers, who suffered a 50-49 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Hampton's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joel Fullwood, who went 5-for-9 en route to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Abraham Taft III, who posted 13 points.

Hampton's record is now 8-1. As for Salem, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Hampton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 81-31 victory against Warwick on the 6th. As for Salem, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 77-73 loss against Kellam on the 6th.
