Softball Recap: Odessa Starts Season with Victory Against Lee's Summit West

Odessa took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past the Lee's Summit West Titans 5-4. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Odessa wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 12-5 win against South Harrison on the 29th. As for Lee's Summit West, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Blue Springs South at 4:30 p.m. on the 9th.
