Softball Game Preview: Weeki Wachee Hornets vs. Hernando Leopards

Weeki Wachee is on a three-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Hernando a three-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Weeki Wachee Hornets will square off against the Hernando Leopards at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Weeki Wachee is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They came up short against Lecanto on Tuesday, falling 14-0.

Meanwhile, Hernando didn't have quite enough to beat Nature Coast Tech on Tuesday and fell 4-3.

Hernando saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was ADDISYN SLOCUM, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run. AUBREY KNIERIM was another, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
