Softball Recap: Fremont Falls Short Against Ranked Bellevue East

Fremont faced Bellevue East in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Tigers came up short against the Chieftains, falling 10-4. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Fremont saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karina Cervantes, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs. Another was Morgan Sintek, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Fremont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Bellevue East, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-2.

Fremont has already played their next contest, an 11-1 loss against Bellevue West on the 23rd. As for Bellevue East, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-1 win against Millard South on the 23rd.
