Softball Recap: Hudson Snaps Ten-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Hudson came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the East Marshall Mustangs, falling 11-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 11-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2024.

Hudson's defeat ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-6. As for East Marshall, their victory bumped their record up to 13-6.

Hudson has already played their next matchup, a 5-2 win against Dike-New Hartford on the 19th. As for East Marshall, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 19-0 victory against Nevada on the 19th.
