Basketball Recap: Bristol's Losing Streak Snapped at 11 Games

Bristol had to endure an 11-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 40-39 victory over the Lehigh Valley Academy Jaguars.

Bristol's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for Lehigh Valley Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Bristol didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 44-27 loss against Calvary Christian Academy on the 3rd. As for Lehigh Valley Academy, they will welcome Nativity BVM at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
