Durham and Maxwell are an even 2-2-3 against one another since January of 2023, but likely not for long. The Trojans are taking a road trip to take on the Panthers at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Durham came up short against Shasta Charter Academy on Tuesday, falling 4-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Durham were already down 3-0.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Maxwell faced off against Paradise on Thursday. The Panthers fell 5-3 to the Bobcats. The matchup was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but Maxwell couldn't quite close it out.

This is the second loss in a row for Durham and nudges their season record down to 3-7. As for Maxwell, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Durham beat Maxwell 4-2 in their previous matchup back in January of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
