Soccer Recap: Jordan Comes Up Short

If Jordan was riding high fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Compton last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Jordan Panthers came up short against the Woodrow Wilson Bruins on Thursday, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 825th, while the Bruins are ranked 73rd).

Jordan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Woodrow Wilson, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0-2.

Jordan will take on Muir in a tournament on Saturday. Muir will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Jordan surely won't give up without a fight. Woodrow Wilson will take on Pacifica in a holiday battle at at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
