Baseball Recap: Franklin Towne Has No Trouble Against Northeast

Franklin Towne had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 16-run drubbing they dealt Northeast on Thursday. Franklin Towne blew past Northeast 20-4. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Daniel LaSalle looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Ryan Ryzinski was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaedyn Sanchez, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Franklin Towne always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .800. Their OBP was a full 0 higher than the also-impressive .529 that Northeast posted.
