Basketball Recap: Washington Has No Trouble Against Galileo

Washington won the last time they faced Galileo and things went their way on Monday too. The Washington Eagles blew past the Galileo Lions 57-32. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 23 points or more this season.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mia Fahey, who posted 15 points. Caitlin Yee was another key player, putting up nine points.

Washington's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Galileo, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.

Coincidentally, Washington and Galileo will both be playing Lincoln the next time they take the court. Washington will host Lincoln at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Galileo will host them at 5:30 p.m. on February 19th.
