Basketball Recap: Seven Straight Road Wins for Ramona

Ramona extended their road winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Jaiden Tibbels. The Ramona Rams breezed by the La Sierra Eagles to the tune of 66-16 on Thursday thanks in part to Tibbels, who almost dropped a double-double on 26 points and nine steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in December of 2024.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylene Perez, who went 5 of 8 on her way to 10 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.

Ramona is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.9 points per game. As for La Sierra, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

Ramona will square off against Downey at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for La Sierra, they will face off against Jurupa Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
