Football Recap: Mayo Comes Up Short

Mayo suffered their biggest loss since September 6, 2024 on Wednesday. They came up short against the Chanhassen Storm, falling 41-17. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 65th, while the Storm are ranked second).

This is the second loss in a row for Mayo and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for Chanhassen, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

As of now, neither Mayo nor the Storm have any future games scheduled.
