Football Recap: Kent Island Gets the Win + How To Watch

While Kent Island's victory against Parkside wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Buccaneers had just enough and edged out the Rams 36-33. The win continues a trend for the Buccaneers in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won six in a row.

Jaxson Hess was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 147 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Denim Ballard, who rushed for 217 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 7.2 yards per carry. Tavian Dashiell was another key player, picking up 135 receiving yards and two TDs.

Kent Island's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Parkside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Kent Island didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 24-23 win against Wicomico on the 16th. As for Parkside, they have also already played their next game, a 29-20 victory against North Caroline on the 17th.
