Basketball Game Preview: Los Banos Tigers vs. Rancho San Juan Trailblazers

The Los Banos Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Rancho San Juan Trailblazers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rancho San Juan took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Los Banos, who comes in off a win.

While Tigers fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Tuesday's season opener. They strolled past Livingston with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 47-28. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Los Banos can attribute much of their success to Kanin Welch, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 12 boards, and Siena Frietas, who posted 17 points and eight rebounds. Brooke Barton was another key player, putting up six points and seven rebounds.

Los Banos was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Livingston only posted seven.

Meanwhile, Rancho San Juan unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by Soledad 48-21 last Thursday.
