Softball Recap: Dublin Takes a Loss

Dublin extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping them down to 11-17. They lost 8-0 to the Dodge County Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-1 back in September.

As for Dodge County, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-10. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 12 contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

For Dodge County's part, Jimiah Burns was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two triples and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Graham, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Coming up, Dublin will face off against Swainsboro at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Fighting Irish's hitters will have their work cut out for them. Dodge County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
