After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Peach County, Bainbridge was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Westover Patriots by a score of 6-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bearcats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Amarion Donaldson, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Bowen Smith, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.

Bainbridge's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Westover, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-13.

Bainbridge will have a chance to go back-to-back against Westover: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
