Baseball Recap: Crawford County Comes Up Short

Crawford County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Schley County Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one run.

Crawford County's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Schley County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Crawford County is set to face off against their familiar foe Marion County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Schley County will take on rival Taylor County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
