Softball Recap: Turpin Drops Season-High Score on Buffalo

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Turpin). They never let the Buffalo Bison get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Tuesday. Surprisingly, this marked the Cardinals' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Turpin is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Buffalo, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Coincidentally, Turpin and Buffalo will both be playing Laverne the next time they take the field. The Cardinals will head out to face the Tigers at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, while the Bison will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
