Baseball Recap: Pelham Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Pelham couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Charlton County Indians on Tuesday, falling 14-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Tuesday.

Pelham's loss dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Charlton County, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 30-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Indians beat Pelham by a score of 10-0 later that day.
