Volleyball Game Preview: Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks vs. Grace Christian School Kings

The Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks will challenge the Grace Christian School Kings at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Miller School of Albemarle came up short against New Covenant last Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Miller School of Albemarle was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Grace Christian School didn't have quite enough to beat Grove Christian School on Tuesday and fell 3-2. The Kings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Grace Christian School took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 18-25, 23-25, 25-22, 15-11.

Grace Christian School's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Miller School of Albemarle, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
