Triton hadn't done well against Caledonia recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Cobras walked away with a 13-3 victory over the Warriors. That's more bragging rights for the Cobras, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win made it two in a row for Triton and bumps their season record up to 2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 9 points in those games. As for Caledonia, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Triton is set to challenge their familiar foe Chatfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Caledonia will take on rival Dover-Eyota at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
