Soccer Recap: Rio Mesa Takes a Loss

Rio Mesa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ventura Cougars. That's two games in a row now that the Spartans have lost by just one goal.

Rio Mesa's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14-5. As for Ventura, the win got them back to even at 8-8-4.

As of now, neither Rio Mesa nor Ventura have any future games scheduled.
