Football Game Preview: South Warren Spartans vs. Trinity Shamrocks + How To Watch

The South Warren Spartans will square off against the Trinity Shamrocks at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. South Warren will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

South Warren is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took down Ryle 36-20.

Kayden York produced another solid effort rushing for 228 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. Those 228 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

York was just one part of a punishing run game: South Warren was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 291 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to South Warren's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Drayson Moore, Jaquise Smith, and Cole Kuzma, who each picked up one sack apiece.

St. Xavier typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Trinity proved too difficult a challenge. They blew past the Tigers 50-7. The result was nothing new for the Shamrocks, who have now won ten matchups by 32 points or more so far this season.

Trinity's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for South Warren, their win bumped their record up to 13-0.
