Softball Recap: Muskogee Comes Up Short

Muskogee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 6-2 to the Piedmont Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-5 back in August.

Muskogee's loss dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Piedmont, their victory bumped their record up to 16-7.

Looking ahead, Muskogee will venture away from home to square off against Tahlequah at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Roughers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Piedmont, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Edmond Santa Fe at 3:15 p.m.
