Vidalia extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Toombs County. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bulldogs, sneaking past 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Indians as they're now sitting on five straight.

Vidalia pushed their record up to 19-14 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Toombs County, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Vidalia beat the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 later that day.
