Softball Recap: Highlands Ranch Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Highlands Ranch's offense. They lost 7-0 to the Horizon Hawks on Friday. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Highlands Ranch saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bridget Nittler, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one stolen base.

Highlands Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Horizon, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, Highlands Ranch will be taking part in a tournament against Brush at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Horizon, they will take on Arvada West in a tournament on Friday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight.
