Loyd Star had won four straight home games and Jordyn Kees did his part to make it five on Friday. The Hornets simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Enterprise Yellowjackets 50-12 with plenty of help from Kees, who rushed for 331 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 15.0 yards per carry, and also picked up 37 receiving yards. Kees is crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season.

Despite the loss, Enterprise saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jiles Williams rushed for 89 yards and a pair of scores.

Loyd Star's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Enterprise, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Loyd Star didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-7 victory against Franklin County on the 23rd. As for Enterprise, they will host Amite County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
