Softball Recap: Statesboro Sets Scoring Season-High Against Bradwell Institute

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Statesboro). They never let the Bradwell Institute Tigers get on the board and left with a 17-0 win on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Blue Devils as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Chloe Larson was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Emma Patterson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Statesboro always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .704. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Statesboro's win bumped their record up to 5-15. As for Bradwell Institute, their loss dropped their record down to 2-17.

Statesboro will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
