Softball Recap: Pataula Charter Academy Wins Going Away Against Furlow Charter School

Pataula Charter Academy's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Furlow Charter School Falcons. Considering the Panthers have won three matches by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Avjah Lynn was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Lynn was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Emma Harrell, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Gracen Hunnicutt was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Pataula Charter Academy hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive games.
