Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marietta). They put the hurt on the Wheeler Wildcats with a sharp 16-1 victory on Friday. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Marietta's victory bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Wheeler, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-20.

Coming up, Marietta will host Holy Innocents Episcopal at 5:55 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wheeler, they will head out to take on Jackson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jaguars will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
