Softball Recap: Holden Extends Winning Streak to Two

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Tuesday. Holden's pitchers stepped up to hand Summit Christian Academy a 3-0 shutout. The win made it back-to-back victories for Holden.

Holden's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Summit Christian Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Holden is taking a road trip to face off against Lexington at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Summit Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Michael the Archangel at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Guardians have averaged an impressive 10.9 runs per game this season.
