Basketball Game Preview: Bishop's Knights vs. Otay Ranch Mustangs

The Bishop's Knights will face off against the Otay Ranch Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Bishop's sitting on four straight victories and Otay Ranch on 11.

Bishop's is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They came out on top against Montgomery by a score of 63-55.

Imperial typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Otay Ranch proved too difficult a challenge. They snuck past the Tigers with a 49-45 win.

Otay Ranch pushed their record up to 25-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 22 points. As for Bishop's, their win bumped their record up to 19-11.

Bishop's took their victory against Otay Ranch in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 53-29. Does Bishop's have another victory up their sleeve, or will Otay Ranch turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
