What would happen if high school teams were assigned to bowl games like in college?

De La Salle took care of Centennial (Corona, Calif.) for a California state title. But how would the Spartans do in a mock Rose Bowl against Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati)?

The season ends with state titles in high school football. But if we were to mimic what college football does, there would be a handful of spectacular matchups pitting the best teams in America against each other.

We chose teams for each of the major bowl games, broke down who would have an advantage and even made videos for all but one. Check out the hypothetical situations below.

BCS Championship Game
Curtis (River Ridge, La.) vs. Allen (Texas)

Cotton Bowl
DeSoto (Texas) vs. Jenks (Okla.)

Fiesta Bowl
Katy (Texas) vs. Centennial (Corona, Calif.)

Sugar Bowl

Trinity (Louisville, Ky.) vs. Washington (Miami)

Orange Bowl
St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) vs. Cathedral Prep (Erie, Pa.)

Rose Bowl
De La Salle (Concord, Calif.) vs. Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati)

Outback Bowl
Bellevue (Wash.) vs. Ensworth (Nashville, Tenn.)

Chick-fil-A Bowl
Hoover (Ala.) vs. Butler (Matthews, N.C.)
