Basketball Recap: Immaculate Heart Takes a Loss

Immaculate Heart lost against Polytechnic back in December of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pandas lost 55-34 to the Panthers.

Polytechnic's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maggie Scholze led the charge by dropping a double-double with 13 points and ten boards. Scholze is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last seven games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Lori Ohanian, who shot 55% from the field en route to 13 points and eight rebounds.

Immaculate Heart's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Polytechnic, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Immaculate Heart will head out to challenge Crossroads at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Polytechnic, they will take on Maranatha in a tournament on Monday.
