Soccer Game Preview: Colo-NESCO vs. Prairie City-Monroe

The Colo-NESCO Royals will head out to challenge the Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Colo-NESCO is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Monday, they were much more limited against Perry on Tuesday. They lost 10-1 to the Bluejays. Colo-NESCO have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Prairie City-Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Knoxville, falling 7-0. That's two games in a row now that Prairie City-Monroe have lost by exactly seven goals.

Colo-NESCO's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-2. As for Prairie City-Monroe, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything went Colo-NESCO's way against Prairie City-Monroe in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Colo-NESCO made off with a 4-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Royals since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
