Cristo Rey has no trouble against Johnson

The Cristo Rey Saints's game on Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past Johnson 43-22.
Among those leading the charge was Angelina Cortes, who scored 18 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Cristo Rey's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Regina Antillo, who scored 10 points.
The win got Cristo Rey back to even at 1-1. As for Johnson, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Cristo Rey will head out on the road to face off against Western Sierra Collegiate Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Western Sierra Collegiate Academy is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games. As for Johnson, they will square off against Futures at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Futures focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 on Thursday.
