Volleyball Recap: Bancroft-Rosalie Triumphs

It was a proper cat-fight when Bancroft-Rosalie duked it out with Lyons-Decatur Northeast on Saturday. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Cougars 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Leah Beaudette was the offensive standout of the match as she had 18 digs. Those 18 digs gave her a new career-high.

Despite the loss, Lyons-Decatur Northeast still got an impressive performance from Karsen Olsen, who had 21 digs.

The victory made it two in a row for Bancroft-Rosalie and bumps their season record up to 12-16. As for Lyons-Decatur Northeast, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-19 record this season.

Bancroft-Rosalie has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Tekamah-Herman on the 20th. As for Lyons-Decatur Northeast, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Mead on the 21st.
